สายไฟเพาเวอร์คอนโทรลใช้ต่อเชื่อมอุปกรณ์ทางไฟฟ้า สำหรับการส่งข้อมูลโดยไม่มีการสูญเสีย ใช้สำหรับติดตั้งแบบวางอยู่กับทที่ หรือการเคลื่อนไหวได้เล็กน้อย โดยปราศจากแรงกระทำ (ห้ามใช้ในรางไฟกระดูกงู) เหมาะสำหรับที่แห้ง, ชื้น, ภายนอกอาคารให้ใช้ป้องกันแสงยูวี และห้ามฝังดิน
