RE-2X (St)Ymb, Lg, |
Instrumentation cable with static screen flame-retardant, black and blue
|
| |
|
|
| |
|
|
|
PV-af Alternative designations :
RE-2X (St)Y XLPE/OSCR/PVC

|
 |
Applications |
These computer cables with flame-retardant
PVC outer sheath and XLPE core insulation
are used for optimum data transmission
for medium transmission rates up to
200 kbits/s in process control and
data processing systems.
Short and
different pitch lengths for the pairs
guarantee favourable crosstalk attenuation
values. Low operating capacitance and
attenuation values enable large transmission
distances and short pulse times.
The static
screen (St) of plastic coated metal foil
protects the circuits from external electrical
interference for compliance with capacitance
unbalance specifications and to assure
an exact pulse transmission. These cables
are suitable for permanent installation
in dry, moist and wet rooms, for outdoor
applications and underground installation.
Characteristic features
XLPE core
insulation guarantees a low capacitance
value.
Twisted pairs
with selected pitch lengths guarantee
good crosstalk attenuation values.
The
black PVC outer sheath is resistant
to UV radiation.
Durability
The PVC sheath is largely resistant to oils.
Chemical
resistance of PVC-refer also to the Table of
Technical Guidelines.
