Silicone-insulated
flexible single-cores |
| |
|
|
|

|
 |
Applications |
These silicone-insulated single-core cables, resistant to high and low temperatures, are used in all areas where high and low temperatures can have a direct effect, e.g. in all types of heating equipment, in high-power lighting fixtures, spotlights, transformer factories, foundries, iron and steel works, smelting plants, industrial furnace construction, ship building, refrigeration plant construction, driving mechanism construction, coking plants, special vehicles as well as in the chemical and ceramics industry.
Characteristic features
Temperature-resistant
from -60 °C to + 180°C, for short
periods to + 250°C.
Approved
for temperature class H up to + 180°C.
In the event of fire,
no fire support ; retention of the
insulation and low smoke emission.
Durability
The silicone compound
is resistant to ozone, oxygen and
weathering.
Refer also to
the Table of Technical Guidelines for
other chemical resistance properties
of silicone compounds.
